Brian Head grew up in Orchard Hill, GA, and graduated from Griffin High School in 1992. He worked for a local farm right out of high school while maintaining his family’s garden; farming has always been in his blood. In 1993, Brian met and married Jennifer Cook. Shortly thereafter, he went to work for the University of Georgia Experiment Station in Griffin, GA. Ever interested in agriculture, Brian transferred to the Georgia Department of Agriculture in 1996 and moved to Dahlonega, GA as a Structural Pesticide Field Agent. Brian and Jennifer have lived in North Georgia for the last 17 years.
Jennifer Cook Head grew up in Milner, GA, graduating in 1992 from Lamar County Comprehensive High School. She went to work in the medical billing field almost immediately after graduation, working for various doctors and Upson Regional Medical Center until their move to North Georgia in 1995. In 1999, Jennifer went to work for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta where she is still employed PRN. Jennifer grew up with farming, her grandfather Riley Sanders ran a a dairy farm for much of her childhood. Gardens, agriculture, farming, and homemaking are the fabric of her family. She is very excited to start this new adventure. Jennifer also makes handmade cold processed soaps, embroidery, and sews.
